There are two kind of chips that able to do this trick.\u00a0YX8018 and\u00a0QX5252.<\/p>\n<h4>YX8018:<\/h4>\n<p>Datasheet:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/aitendo3.sakura.ne.jp\/aitendo_data\/product_img\/ic\/led_driver\/YX\/YX8018-aitendo.pdf\">Japanese Edition<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/shiningic.com\/UpLoad\/20130605111330984.pdf\">Chinese Edition<\/a><\/p>\n<p>How To:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/mcauser\/YX8018-solar-led-driver\">https:\/\/github.com\/mcauser\/YX8018-solar-led-driver<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/wiki.analog.com\/university\/courses\/alm1k\/alm-lab-15\">https:\/\/wiki.analog.com\/university\/courses\/alm1k\/alm-lab-15<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Pros: YX8018 can run with a power source under 0.6v (maybe 0.5v is possible) under a LED load.\u00a0\u00a0YX8018 can go as low as 3mA (from power source) when pair with a high\u00a0560uH\u00a0inductor, which is good for weak power source (battery with high internal resistance).<\/p>\n<p>Cons:\u00a0\u00a0YX8018 will not able to withdraw more than 30mA from power source.
